Unexpected trouble

The room was clean, and the heat worked well on a chilly night.

It had convenient and perfect location, close enough to the University of Richmond, a shopping center and other fast food resturants, and restaurant's.

Thoroughly enjoyed the place, had a very very good stay for the price. The breakfasts except for the coffee. The room was large and brand-new with 2 queen beds, with essentials required. The staff was amicable, provided an early check-in and a late check-out.

The shower was good, but the entry light was annoyingly flickering.

Thank you for a very pleasant stay. It's a quiet place. The hotel has good location in the best part of town. Also, it is not far from the water park, and a shopping center and other fast food resturants.

Here's what you need to know

Expect the unexpected! This place has potential, but with unkempt rooms, rude staff, and limited breakfast options, it can disappoint. My stay was plagued by noise disturbances and a dusty environment, leaving little comfort. A nearby Wawa for breakfast was a bonus, but overall, I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to stay here.

We visited the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and enjoyed some local winery tours. The rooms were clean and quiet, perfect for resting after a day out. Pro tip, don't expect much breakfast, just coffee and snacks, but it's a convenient place overall.

One small downside was that the bathrooms only had soap and shampoo provided, so if you need more amenities, bring your own.

The gentleman at check-in was pleasant and accommodating. He ensured my non-smoking room request was met without any extra fees.

The room was clean, and I appreciated the tranquility of the hotel , as there were hardly any guests around. The dueling issues of outdated amenities and a bathroom with mold were quite significant drawbacks. The breakfast offered was disappointing with limited choices, prompting me to skip it most mornings. While the basic room structure was adequate for the price, several improvements are needed for a more comfortable experience.

This hotel is good, and has everything I need like wi-fi, air conditioning, tv, and 24-hour reception. I still remember how staff helped me with currency tips on my first stay. I recommend it and will be back for my next trip!
